I was born in 1976, and at the age of 10, I discovered the magic of computers—my first was an 8-bit Atari 800XL. From the start, I wasn’t just a player; I was determined to delve into the mysteries of programming. I began with Basic, then moved on to Turbo Basic, and after a few years, I ventured into assembler, which opened entirely new possibilities in software development. In the early 90s, I transitioned straight to MS-DOS for PC i386 and completed my first game as a project for my high school graduation exam.

However, the pivotal moment in my game development career was the founding of Cinemax with Marek Nepožitek in 1998, following a brief joint stint at Cybernetic Cinema and participation in the development of several Czech games like Nodus Domini, Gooka and Husita.

I am most often involved in Cinemax Games projects as a producer, programmer, or game designer, and I am also a member of the following teams: Cinemax Games, Mirakar Studio, Elevator Pitch Games, Automatica Corp, Brahman Studios, and Real Meta Developer.
Outside of game development, I work on the design and programming of websites, databases, tools, and, more recently, virtual production.
Since 2013, I have been regularly contributing opinion columns to the Czech print gaming magazine Level. I am also an active member of the Prague indie game development community. For more than 10 years, I have organized an annual sports tournament and networking event, bringing together teams from renowned Czech studios like Amanita Design, Warhorse Studios, Geewa, Ashborn Games, and many others.
